This 170°F (77°C) thermostat is 10°F (6°C) lower than the one found on the stock Mustang, meaning coolant will flow to your engine sooner, perfect for high-performance applications.

The Reische Performance Ford-50 thermostat is made using the same exact components as the OEM unit, including a rubberised diaphragm. It is a direct-fit unit with proper bypass control to guarantee maximum efficiency. 

This thermostat will provide the best possible heat dissipation for high performance engines, even more so than competitor's 160°F thermostats. Reische believes the 170°F opening temperature is the ideal balance for your engine, providing high flow to your radiator whilst still delivering good all-season performance.

Does not include replacement O-ring housing gasket.
